Human fetal lung fibroblast cell line (MRC5) treated for 50 minutes with sirolimus (100 nM; vendor: LC laboratories / catalog name: rapamycin). Cells in the growing phase (at 60% confluency) were hypertonically shocked by changing the condition media to a 300 mM NaCl containing Medium for 30 minutes.
