CD34+ hematopoietic stem/progenitor cells (HSC) were transduced with lentivirus expressing shRNA targeting IRF2 gene with following differentiation to the erythroid lineage. HSCs were obtained from magnetically sorted G-CSF mobilized peripheral blood mononuclear cells of healthy donors.
